Dr. Eve Monrad earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She started her career in orthopedic physical therapy before developing a passion for pelvic health, pregnancy, and postpartum physical therapy.
Dr. Eve believes in a whole-body treatment approach in order to find the “why” behind each patient’s complaint. While she does treat the entire body, Dr. Eve specializes in the pelvis and pelvic floor muscles, and how they are connected to your whole body. She takes a thorough approach to assessing and improving movement mechanics, muscle tension, joint range of motion, and the nervous system, to help you correct the source of your pain rather than solely treating the symptoms.
She uses a combination of manual therapy, dry needling, tailored exercise, and education into a patient’s lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, and stress in order to optimize function and recovery. She was a certified massage therapist for 4 years prior to attending PT school and is continually learning new skills through continuing education courses and conferences.
She is the lucky mother of two girls and enjoys spending time with her family traveling, skiing, enjoying the rocky mountains, crafting with her kids, reading a good book, and cooking delicious and healthy meals.
